What is Mainly Music?
Mainly Music is a program designed for children aged 0-5 years and their parents, caregivers and grandparents. Through the medium of music they are encouraged to interact with one another, as they sing, dance, play instruments and move together.
 
Mainly Music is also a great space for parents to connect with other adults, to enjoy some adult conversation and interaction and to grow relationships and networks with other parents/adults while their children play and interact with other children.
 
What is in a session?
Each week parents/caregivers bring their young children for a 30 minute session with music, rhyme, movement listening and more.
 
A facilitator leads the program while adults are encouraged to interact and participate with their children.
 
Each week a different selection of instruments and other props are used by everyone to enhance the music experience.
 
Morning tea is then supplied for the children who sit down to eat before enjoyng some free-play time using the toys and equipment that are provided.
Parents are then able to connect with other mums and adults over a cuppa and morning tea.
 
How do I get involved?
 
Come along each week and be ready to participate with and encourage your child as you interact together. Bring your friends along with you and enjoy the program together.
 
A small fee of $5 a week per family will be charged to cover ongoing coss of the program, however if money is an issue or concern pleae do not hesitate to contact us first.
